Way to Go Canada! Most Golds ever won in the Winter Olympics! The last couple of weeks have had us on the edge of our seats with anticipation of medal contention. All the hard work of the athletes leading up to the Olympics finally challenged. There were so many memorable moments of the Olympics but I have to say that watching that final Canada vs USA Gold match in Men's Hockey really had to take the cake.
My brother told me in the morning that the game would end in a 2-2 tie at the end of regulation and Sid the Kid was going to score the winning goal. Well I called him on the edge of my seat during each intermission asking if he wanted to change his prediction and he said, "no, I'm going to be famous tomorrow at the Fire Hall when Sid the Kid comes through!" Wow what a moment! I love Canada!
